Mark Corney
Mark
Corney is well known to viewers of Time Team and led the excavations last year
in Nelson Street, Chepstow, site of the new J D Weatherspoon's pub called 'The
Bell Hanger', which can be entered both from Nelson Street and St Mary's
Street. These revealed evidence for a surprisingly
long period of human activity in Chepstow, including an important Prehistoric
and Anglo Saxon presence before the arrival of the Normans.
